From Ninetta Bartoli to Giorgia Meloni, from Margherita Hack to Samantha Cristoforetti: a visual and emotional journey celebrating the extraordinary contribution of women to the making of modern Italy.Through photographs, documents, stories, and testimonies, this exhibition commemorates the 80th anniversary of women\u2019s suffrage in Italy, retracing the long path of women\u2019s emancipation and democratic participation in the history of the Republic.<\/p>\n

The exhibition pays tribute to the major civil and legislative achievements of the twentieth century \u2014 from women\u2019s right to vote to the protection of working mothers, from women\u2019s access to the judiciary to the abolition of honour killings \u2014 milestones that profoundly reshaped the role of women in Italian society.<\/p>\n

Visitors are invited to further explore this journey through the materials and documents presented below.<\/p>\n
